Membrane Dryer
Membrane air dryers eliminate water suspended in compressed air using a selectively permeable membrane.
Overview
Membrane air dryers are a type of industrial dehydration equipment that eliminates water suspended in compressed air using a selectively permeable membrane. This separation membrane is composed of microtubules that retain water when air is circulated through them.
How It Works
A stream of "wet" compressed air is passed through the membrane leading to water retention with a "dry" stream of air emerging from an outlet on the other side of the membrane dryer. MVH Global can supply the membrane dryer with different capacity and pressure from well-known qualified brands.
Key Advantages
- No moving parts — virtually maintenance-free
- No electricity required — ideal for remote and hazardous locations
- No desiccant replacement needed
- Clean and oil-free dry air output
- Suitable for food and pharmaceutical applications

Wet Air In → Membrane → Dry Air Out
Small amount of dry air sent back through purge orifice
Dry Air sweeps away water vapor → Water Vapor Purge
